Ranked by a Bayesian average of Google rating and review count (prior weight 50 reviews).

For each category we take Google's own top results for "<category> Edmonton", keep the ones inside the city boundary, and order them by a Bayesian average: a business with a 5.0 from 9 reviews sits below a 4.8 from 400, because a handful of reviews is weak evidence. The prior is the mean rating across all listed businesses (4.68) with a weight of 50 reviews.

Every rating line reads "4.8 from 320 reviews on Google" and links to the Google listing. These are Google's numbers, not ours: we do not rate businesses, accept payment for placement, or add businesses by hand. 3,156 of the 3,156 listed businesses have a rating.
